WASP's Legacy
After taking part in training, WASP flew in every Army Air Force Arsenal as Ferrying Pilot. Jacqueline led women to fight through tough trials, such as when men removed equipment and smashed windows in an attempt to stop Jacqueline from take-off during her first military flight.

All these generals would be pounding on my door instead of the other way around.” -Jacqueline Cochran to Chuck Yeager, a general in the United States Air Force and record-setting test pilot Jacqueline is a major reason why women can serve in the military today. Her legacy is long-lasting and continues to inspire women. Since WASP, many have joined the air force and because of the female contribution in World War II, women are able to serve and work without being discriminated against. She made it possible for women to be able to participate in the war and now women won't be thought lesser than men in the military.
